WHY?
Parkstory provides an automated parking system with an app for users, operators, and maintenance managers.
HOW?
The system uses XY pallets to automatically move vehicles in a warehouse with a lifting system. Users park in a lounge, and automation is controlled via a mobile app or analog interface. The app enables remote parking management, space reservation, real-time tracking, and payments.
WHAT?
It transforms parking with AI and technology, automating the process for a smoother, more practical, and sustainable experience. Its goal is to optimize urban space use while providing a premium, user-friendly solution.
The GOAL
Provide a fully automated, fast, and stress-free parking experience, while reinforcing Parkstory’s identity through a distinctive design and a high-end user interface.
The challenge
Design an elegant, intuitive interface that makes Parkstory instantly recognizable, while providing a seamless experience for different types of users: drivers, operators, and maintenance managers. Ensure clear signage to guide drivers in positioning their vehicles correctly.
DESIGN TASKS
Create an intuitive and inclusive UX/UI for a multi-user app
Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for drivers, operators, and maintenance teams. Ensure seamless onboarding, a distinctive look and feel, and accessibility features, including dark mode.
Optimize the parking and navigation experience
Develop clear signage and intuitive step-by-step parking guidance to help users position their vehicles correctly while preventing errors and providing real-time alerts.
Implement key mobile app features for users
Enable remote parking management, space reservation, real-time tracking, and seamless payments within the app to ensure a smooth and autonomous experience.
Design operational dashboards for staff
Create monitoring interfaces for operators and maintenance teams, including incident reporting, automated alerts, and system diagnostics to enhance efficiency.
Refine the system through testing and iteration
Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and gather continuous user feedback to improve functionality and user satisfaction.
